“This is a fast and easy Asian Szechwan sauce which is a great base sauce to get creative with shrimp, chicken, vegetables, or anything of your choice. Enjoy!”

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon sugar substitute
1/8 cup canola oil
1 cup sliced onion
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 pound raw shrimp
4 cups cut up vegetables
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large bowl, mix together water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, crushed red pepper, ground ginger, and sugar substitute. Set aside.
2. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil, onions, and garlic for a minute.
3. Add shrimp and vegetables and sauté until shrimp is pink and vegetables are tender.
4. Add sauce and heat through for about 2 minutes.
5. Pour over noodles or rice.
