For a twist, I kept the same Libby’s Pumpkin Roll recipe you can find anywhere, and you can also find it on my website by typing Pumpkin Roll in the search. For a change to this well-loved classic dessert, I added 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips to the cream cheese filling mixture. Instead of sprinkling the top with confectioner’s sugar, I beat 2 cups of heavy cream with a few tablespoons of sugar and slathered this whipped cream all over the top and sides of the roll. Put shavings of chocolate on top, and you’ll get wows from those few people you know who are not really pumpkin fans, like my husband Bill! Ha-ha!
