SO EASY! I have always made applesauce on the stove, but I just found out the easier way is to use a crock pot! Put everything together and forget it for a few hours! Delicious applesauce! Mix the apples with any other fruit you wish. Sugar is optional. It is delicious for me without sugar. The nutritional information includes the sugar. Without the sugar it is 104 calories for 1/2 cup.

I love the texture of the small chunks of apples and berries. But you can put it in a processor when it is done if you want it to be very fine. Try this! It is a nice complement to a meal or I like it as a delicious low-calorie dessert, especially when dieting! Enjoy!

Yield:  2 – 1/2 cups

6 large apples, cored, peeled and quartered
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, or any other fruit
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup sugar, optional
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1. Put all ingredients in a crock pot and stir to combine.
2. Cook on LOW for 4 – 6 hours. Nutritional Information
