Easy Ganache

This has to be the EASIEST ganache to make ever!

It is delicious!

It pours beautifully over cakes! Not too thin, it is just the right consistency to pour.

You can use it as a chocolate sauce over ice cream, too.

In the picture the ganache is over my Inside-Out Chocolate Cake. You can find the recipe for that in the search. A fudgy, moist chocolate cake!

Enjoy!

Equipment

  • Microwave

Ingredients

  • cups chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  • 1. In a microwaveable-safe bowl, stir together the chocolate chips and the oil.
  • 2. Microwave it on high for 1 minute, then vigorously stir it until all the chocolate chips are melted.
  • 3. Pour the ganache over a cake and let it drip down the sides.

Notes

YIELD:  It makes about 1 cup.  Enough to cover a 12-cup Bundt cake.
CHOCOLATE CHIPS:   Use whatever flavor you like.  Or mix up some!
OIL:  I use canola oil and it works great.  Any mild, light oil, except olive oil should work.
