Ingredients
1/4 teaspoonsalt
2tablespoonsbrown sugar
2tablespoonsketchup
1onionlarge, sliced
splashlemon juice and/or 2 lemon slices
2pork chopsboneless or on the bone
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Place a piece of non-stick foil or regular aluminum foil on the bottom of an oven-proof pan or casserole dish. Very, very lightly grease or spray the foil with one spritz.
In a small bowl, whisk together the salt, brown sugar, ketchup, onion slices, and lemon juice.
Place the pork chops on top of the foil.
Spread the sauce mixture on top of the pork chops.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until the inside temperature of the pork chops is 160°. If you greased or sprayed the pan too much, you will have extra liquid in the pan. Drain it before serving.
EXTRA TIP:
FOR EXTRA DELICIOUS SAUCE: Double the sauce ingredients if you'd like extra sauce to use over rice or potatoes. WANT MORE ONIONS? We love onions, so I use an extra large onion or 2 small ones and double the sauce ingredients!FOIL: Instead of using aluminum foil, you can just very, very lightly grease or spray an oven-proof pan or casserole dish. I like to use non-stick food grade foil for easy cleanup!
