Baking with the Kiddies for some Easter/Springtime fun in the kitchen!  

You need some sugar cookies! Make your own, or use a box mix or dairy case sugar cookie dough or just buy some sugar cookies! It’s up to you!

Then frost them with white or chocolate frosting. Sprinkle some tinted coconut for the nests and put jellybeans on top for the eggs! That’s it! You’ll have beautiful Bird’s Nest Cookies!

You can use different cookies: maybe chocolate chip, peanut butter… whatever you want, they will be beautiful! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • sugar cookies or any kind of cookie
  • frosting white or chocolate
  • Coconut tinted green
  • Jelly beans

Instructions

  • Frost the cookies.
  • Sprinkle the green coconut on the wet frosting.
  • Place the jelly beans on top for the “eggs”. Voila! Bird’s Nest Cookies!

EXTRA TIP:

VARIATION: you can use different cookies: maybe chocolate chip, peanut butter… whatever you want!  they will be beautiful!
