“A sweet and tangy blend of raisins, pineapple, lemon juice and maraschino cherries.  It wouldn’t be a complete ham dinner in our family without the appearance of this raisin sauce! It is delicious!

This makes a lot, so divide it in half, or quarters if  you need a smaller amount.  It is my favorite raisin sauce recipe.   Enjoy!”

Servings: 18

2 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, with juice
4 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup maraschino cherries

2. Stir in crushed pineapple with juice, lemon juice, raisins, and cherries and mix thoroughly.
3. Cook on medium heat until it thickens.
4. Serve over ham or pork.
